Star Alliance, the world’s leading global airline alliance, has reinforced its strategic focus on delivering a seamless customer experience with key management appointments.
These new leaders will drive initiatives aimed at enhancing the travel journey for passengers across the Star Alliance network.
Ambar Franco has been appointed as Vice President of Customer Experience, where she will spearhead efforts to improve the customer journey, from booking and airport experience to post-travel loyalty.
Franco, who brings extensive industry experience, previously held senior roles at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
Luc Lachoix joins as Vice President of Digital & Technology, overseeing IT architecture, operations, and security.
Lachoix’s expertise comes from his leadership positions at top travel technology companies such as Amadeus and Sabre.
Renato Ramos, who has been with Star Alliance for seven years, takes on the role of Vice President of Strategy.
Ramos will drive the alliance’s strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration, building on his experience in loyalty and aviation roles at Avianca and LATAM Airlines.
Gayatheri Silvakumer, the new Vice President of People and Culture, will lead the human capital and organizational development efforts at Star Alliance.
She has held senior HR positions at prominent companies including McCann Worldgroup, Bombardier, and Rolls-Royce.
