The Andorra Epic: a thrilling mountain bike stage race through the Pyrenees with Cape Epic winners, World Cup winners and national title holders. Part of the Epic Series, it is the third race of the season, where teams of two must conquer 200km and 6.400m of climbing in just four days. The final stage was the grand finale of the Andorra Epic, starting in La Massana, riders climbed toward Pal and the Pal-Arinsal World Cup area, combining road, trails, and bike park sections. The course continued over Collada de Muntaner and included a mandatory hike-a-bike at Pas del Contrabandista before reaching Coll de la Botella for the final feed zone.
The Italian duo of Davide Foccoli and Stefano Gori in the men’s and Colombian Monica Calderon and her teammate Costanza Fasolis from Italy controlled the final stage of 2026 Andorra Epic to secure their overall victories respectively. Foccoli and Goria had won the first two stages to establish a nearly 2-minute lead in GC, but a difficult Stage 3 saw their lead reduced to 51 seconds and set up a nervy finale. A puncture for Spaniard David Valero prevented the Klimatiza Orbea team from effectively challenging on Stage 4, however, allowing Foccoli and Goria to ride into La Massana as this year’s Andorra Epic champions.
The path to victory for Calderon and Fasolis in the women’s was similar; strong performances on the opening two days allowed them to build a 7-minute lead over Maria Zarantonello (ITA) and Chrystelle Baumann (SUI), which they controlled on Stages 3 and 4. Italian/Swiss pair Gioele de Cosmo and Casey South took their first stage win on the final day, while Lithuanian Katažina Sosna-Pinelė and Giorgia Marchet from Italy won their second and finishing third overall.
