Adam Pearson to Play Joseph Merrick in ‘The Elephant Man’ Film

This will be the first film adaptation of Bernard Pomerance’s Tony-winning play (as David Lynch’s 1980 film had no relation) and Pearson will be the first differently abled actor to take on the role.
