The Irwins have officially become one of Dancing With the Stars‘ most successful family legacies. After Bindi Irwin, 27, won the Mirrorball Trophy in 2015 with her partner, Derek Hough, her younger brother, Robert Irwin, 22, followed in her footsteps and won Season 34 with Witney Carson in 2025. Although Robert told The Hollywood Reporter he did not know he could dance before the show, he joked that their talent comes from somewhere in the family. Now, after two Irwins have been crowned as winners, fans are curious to know if their mom, Terri Irwin, will be the next family member to hit the ballroom?
Robert Irwin reveals whether his mother, Terri, is next in line to join Dancing with the Stars
Robert Irwin has himself fueled the conversation around his mother’s participation in Dancing with the Stars. During his conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, he revealed that he has already launched a playful campaign to get his mom on the show. However, his mom, Terri, quickly shut down the idea before it could take shape. In his words:
“Listen, the petition to have my mom on Dancing With the Stars has begun, and I started it. She is firmly like, ‘Nope, I’m not doing it. That’s not for me.”
