Airports Council International (ACI) World and Amadeus have officially launched the call for entries for the highly anticipated 2025 Technology Innovation Awards. These prestigious awards aim to honor groundbreaking technological advancements and leadership in the airport industry, shaping the future of air travel.
ACI airport members are now invited to submit their applications for the fifth annual ACI World-Amadeus Technology Innovation Awards. This year’s competition will once again spotlight the most remarkable innovations in four key categories:
- Best Innovation in Airport Passenger Services
- Best Innovation in Airport Operations and Facilities Management
- Best Airport Innovation Leader (Individual)
- Best Innovation: Airport on the Rise (Serving 5 Million Passengers or Fewer Annually)

Past editions have recognized progress in areas like biometrics, artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and big data analytics. Submissions will remain open until June 2, 2025, with all entries assessed by a distinguished panel of industry experts.
The winners of the 2025 Technology Innovation Awards will be revealed and honored at the Awards Ceremony during the ACI Airports Innovate event, scheduled for November 25-27, 2025, in Busan, Republic of Korea. In its third year, Airports Innovate continues to gain momentum, bringing together global leaders from aviation and technology sectors to celebrate the innovative advancements shaping the future of air travel.
