Among other conditions, Deepika’s demand for an 8-hour shift reportedly shocked the filmmaker, and some media reports labelled the actress as being ‘unprofessional’. Ajay Devgn voices support for an eight-hour working shift demand
Ajay Devgn recently attended the trailer launch event of his upcoming film, Maa. He was joined by his wife, Kajol, who plays the lead role in the film. Amid other questions posed towards him, the actor was asked about his views on the ongoing debate over an 8-hour work shift demand in the industry for new moms, which started after Deepika left Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit. In turn, the actor indirectly mentioned that the demand isn’t taken well in the industry. He said:
“It’s not that it’s not going down well with people. Most of the honest filmmakers will not have problems with it.”
