The entire Akkineni family is celebrating the union of Akhil Akkineni and Zainab Ravdjee. The couple got engaged in November 2024, ahead of his half-brother, Naga Chaitanya’s second wedding with Sobhita Dhulipala. On June 6, 2025, Akhil and Zainab got married in the presence of their close family and friends. The wedding was an intimate affair, and pictures of the same have been going around.
Bride, Zainab ditched the gold jewellery and opted for diamond accessories
For the intimate wedding, the bride ditched the usual South Indian bridal look, which is adorned with heavy gold jewellery from head to toe. Instead, she kept her look delicate with diamond jewellery. Zainab wore an ivory-gold saree. Talking about her bridal jewellery, Zainab wore a diamond choker neckpiece with red ruby in the centre. She styled it with a three-layered diamond necklace, a mathapatti, a nath, matching jhumkas, a waist belt made of diamonds and diamond bangles.
