The series takes place in the year 2120, when huge corporations run the world, not governments. These corporations control everything around the world. Rather than keeping the plot revolving in outer space, the series actually captures the essence of the Earth, as it’s set right there. One of these corporations, Prodigy, created synthetic children who carry around human minds in their adult robotic bodies. One of the main characters, ‘Wendy’, played by Sydney Chandler, and her siblings are raised by ‘Boy Genius’, who treats them as a symbol of hope and future immortality.
