(ANSA) – ROMA, 24 GIU – The Ambassador of Italy in Dakar, Caterina Bertolini, visited the Senepack & Senefood Fair in Diamniadio, Senegal. The International Exhibition of Food, Food Processing and Packaging, is an annual event that brings together national and international professionals and offers an opportunity to penetrate the Senegalese and West African markets. In particular, the ambassador visited the exhibition space organised by Ita (Italian trade agency) in Dakar, which hosts 20 Italian companies with the best in food packaging and processing technologies. One workshop in particular, organised in collaboration with Senegalese and Italian experts, was devoted to the cold chain, essential for food safety in the region.
