(ANSA) – ROMA, 24 GIU – The Italian Ambassador in Bucharest, Alfredo Durante Mangoni, took part, at the invitation of the Association for Cooperation and Sustainable Development, in the framework of the European project ‘Eu Youth in Power’ in a Networking Chance organised by Libera against mafias.
The focus of the meeting was the rule of law, the involvement of young people in the fight against corruption and organised crime, the reuse of confiscated property, and legality education in schools and in sport. The Italian Embassy, stressed Durante Mangoni, continues to promote cooperation between Italian and Romanian civil societies by supporting business integration models, anti-money laundering strategies and concrete actions in favour of legality and transparency, also in view of Romania’s accession to the OECD.
