(ANSA) – ROMA, 16 SET – Italy’s ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo, Dino Sorrentino, met in Kinshasa with the director general of Grand Inga (Adpi -Rdc), Bob Mabiala. Grand Inga is a sustainable and holistic economic development program that aims to transform Congo from an extractive economy to a regional industrial platform. The Grand Inga construction project, a huge hydroelectric complex on the Congo River is in its phase 3 and is considered a strategic priority for the Democratic Republic of Congo. Italy will be among the key countries in the 2026 roadshow, assures the Italian Embassy in Kinshasa, with focus on energy, green infrastructure and partnerships.
