Amb. to Poland Franchetti Pardo in Lodz sees entrepreneurs

(ANSA) – VARSAVIA, 09 GIU – The Ambassador of Italy to Poland, Luca Franchetti Pardo, today opened the second edition of the International Construction Business Meeting at the Special Economic Zone in Łodz. The meeting was attended by the Hon. Emanuele Loperfido, President of the Italy-Poland Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group and Polish Defence Minister Paweł Bejda, as well as local authorities and an audience of entrepreneurs, managers, senior ranks of the Armed Forces and civil servants.
Organised by the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Poland with the support of the Italian Embassy in Warsaw, the event consolidates the strategic role of Italian-Polish cooperation in the construction, energy and infrastructure sectors. “The Icbm represents a unique opportunity to consolidate concrete synergies between our companies and the local authorities,” said Franchetti Pardo, who said that “thanks to Italian technological excellence and the energy of the Polish sector, we can launch cutting-edge infrastructure projects and already prepare to support the reconstruction of Ukraine together.
The morning alternated between institutional speeches and in-depth technical discussions dedicated to the role of the Polish Armed Forces as investors in the construction sector, energy challenges and the modernisation of electricity grids, as well as large strategic works with a focus on the Centralny Port Komunikacyjny project. The Speed Business Mixer sessions, together with convivial moments – including a networking lunch with Italian specialities and a glass of wine – encouraged the exchange of best practices and the consolidation of partnerships between Italian and Polish companies.
