Amitabh Bachchan used to live and earn in Kolkata (Calcutta) before relocating to Mumbai to try his luck in the Hindi film industry. During this time, he fell in love with an employee of British Airways, as revealed by Hanif Zaveri in a chat with Meri Saheli. Her name was Maya, and Amitabh Bachchan really loved her, and so did she. However, the budding star moved to Mumbai while shooting for his debut film, Saat Hindustani.
