The Annabelle’s story started in the 1970s when the giant raggedy doll was gifted to a 28-year-old Hartford nurse by her mother on her birthday. Initially, what seemed to be a simple doll soon turned into a cause of worry as it would move on its own. She would change her position on her own. Things turned bizarre when she and her roommate started finding parchment paper with little messages, ‘Help me, help us.’ However, they never had parchment paper in their home. Soon, the doll began appearing in different rooms. Not only this, at one point she was even seen leaking blood.
