Oscar-winning music composer, AR Rahman has been admitted to Chennai’s Apollo Hospital on March 16, 2025. The 58-year-old is being attended by a team of doctors at the hospital. According to multiple reports on social media, the Oscar-winning music director started feeling uneasy when he returned back from London. He has been dehydrated due to fasting on the occassion of ‘Ramzan’ festival.
AR Rahman reportedly dehydrated, ECG performed
Now, according to an India Today report and other varied reports, AR Rahman complained of discomfort in his neck area. A member of his team also revealed that, as of now, he was doing fine and that he would be discharged. The report also mentioned that doctors were closely observing him and also did varied tests like ECG and ECHO. Rahman, 5, reportedly was admitted to the hospital at 7.30 am on March 16, 2025. Reportedly, he would also undergo an angiogram. Rahman had undergone a checkup at Apollo Hospital, Chennai, after he complained of feeling uneasy. Rahman reportedly was dehydrated as he was fasting for Ramzan and, for now, has been out of danger.
