(ANSA) – ROME, SEP 10 – The Armani group said Wednesday that the Emporio Armani and Giorgio Armani runway shows presenting the designer’s last collections will take place as planned following his death at the age of 91 last week.
It said the company intends continue to work with the “commitment, respect and attention to work, which always distinguished Mr. Armani and which he himself transmitted to all his collaborators over the years”.
It said the opening of an exhibition at Milan’s Pinacoteca di Brera gallery that “Armani worked on until the end” would also go ahead as planned on Wednesday, September 24. (ANSA).
