Around 100 Italians airlifted out of Libya after clashes

(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 16 – A group of around 100 Italians and 17 Spaniards were airlifted out of Libya overnight following clashes in Tripoli between rival militias.
The Medsky Airways Airbus A320 flight organized by the Italian government landed early on Friday at Rome’s Fiumicino after departing from Misurata, to the east of Tripoli. (ANSA).
