Arthur’s Seat fire: Crews battling blaze at iconic Scottish landmark as witnesses tell of ‘visitors fleeing hill on foot’

A large fire has broken out at Arthur’s seat in Edinburgh this afternoon sending clouds of smoke into the air which could be seen from miles around the Scottish capital.
