Belgrade, Amb. Gori at ‘Ecomondo & Key Info Day’ event

(ANSA) – BELGRADO, 09 SET – Italian Ambassador to Serbia Luca Gori spoke today at the “Ecomondo & Key Info day” event, organized by Italian Exhibition Group (Ieg) and the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia. The initiative, aimed at promoting the participation of Serbian companies in the two main Italian fairs dedicated to sustainable development and energy transition, represented an important opportunity for dialogue and economic cooperation between the two countries. Cooperation that in the last two years has been able to count on three Business Forums, two Scientific Forums and one Innovation Forum.
Also speaking at the event was Alessandra Astolfi, Group Exhibition Director of IEG, who illustrated the opportunities offered by Ecomondo and Key Energy, emphasizing the strategic role of Italian trade fairs as platforms for innovation, networking and internationalization for companies active in green sectors. The initiative was held in the presence of senior representatives of the Serbian government, including Dusan Carkic, Assistant Minister for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Environmental Protection, and Jovana Joksimovic, Assistant Minister for European Integration at the Ministry of Energy.
“Serbia is strongly committed to the implementation of the National Strategy for Circular Economy,” Ambassador Gori said. “Italy,” he added, “wants to start a partnership in this critical sector where it holds a European leadership position to share its experience and technical expertise, as well as its best practices with Serbian institutions and business community.
