While his BFF Matt Damon travels the world to promote The Odyssey, Ben Affleck can take pride in some of his own work this week. Two of his most resilient home-video hits spiked once again, this time on HBO Max. Both movies enjoyed a theatrical run as well, but truly found their audience on the PVOD and streaming markets. In fact, it was the first film’s success at home that prompted Hollywood to make the second, which turned out to be massively popular as well. Both films hold excellent audience scores on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, and don’t be surprised if Affleck returns for a third installment soon.
