The stand-up comedian recently shared how she was touched inappropriately during her college days. Bharti also revealed that she didn’t understand what was happening to her initially, as she was never taught about inappropriate touch.
Bharti Singh recalls being touched inappropriately
In an interview with Raj Shamani for his podcast, Bharti shared that during her college days, she visited other colleges too for workshops and skits. As she was supposed to take an early morning bus, it was surrounded by milkmen, who often touched her inappropriately. Speaking about the same, she shared:
“Jab paise bilkul nahi the, main colleges mein comedy skits karvane jaati thi. Mujhe samajh nahi aata tha tab. Aaj good touch-bad touch batate hai, mujhe toh pata hi nahi tha.”
