(ANSA) – ROME, JUL 31 – Italian police said Thursday that that has been a significant rise in cases of minors sharing various forms of extremist and violent content via social media in recent years.
It said this included supremacist, accelerationist and jihadist material.
It said 12 minors had subjected to precautionary measures, including detention, in relation to such cases since January 2023 and 107 had been the subjects of in-depth investigations (ANSA).
