BMC plans cashless hospitalisation with integrated healthcare scheme

The BMC is introducing the Integrated Patients Healthcare Scheme Assistance System (IPHSA) to make hospitalisation a cashless experience for patients. This system will link patients to various central and state government aid and insurance schemes, significantly reducing out-of-pocket expenses for surgeries, scans, and medicines. The BMC anticipates a tenfold increase in its inpatient care collection.
