Bryan Kohberger Ignores Tearful Mother, Sister, Says Nothing As He Leaves Courtroom After Sentencing

The brutal killing of four University students in their off-campus home in Idaho in 2022 had left the world in shock. Claiming the lives of Kaylee Goncalves, Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle, and Madison Mogen without any known reason, a mysterious killer had created headlines in the quiet college town of Moscow. However, after months-long investigation, it was found that Bryan Kohberger was the main culprit in the case. As he pleaded ‘guilty’ in a hearing held on July 23, 2025, his distance from his mother and sister in the courtroom became another talking point in the case.

Bryan Kohberger maintains cold silence with his mother and sister

Idaho quadruple murder case came to an end on July 23, 2025, when a 30-year-old Bryan was sentenced to four consecutive life sentences for claiming the lives of four students. In a hearing held at the Boise courtroom, Bryan was sentenced without any chance for parole, closing the high-profile case which first broke out in November 2022. The convict who was studying criminology at Washington State University was spared from a death sentence in the case after he pleaded guilty just three weeks before the last date.
