The tension between India and Pakistan escalated after the Pahalgam attack on April 22, 2025. Following this, India gave a response through Operation Sindoor. The Indian Armed Forces dedicatedly and bravely replied to the back-to-back missile and drone attacks of Pakistan on our country, and some of the brave souls, while protecting our country, lost their lives. One of them has been BSF SI, Mohammad Imtiaz. Mohammad Imtiaz lost his life while fighting on the front line on the Pakistani border in Jammu and Kashmir.
A wreath-laying ceremony was held for BSF SI Mohammad Imtiaz, who lost his life during Operation Sindoor
Mohammad Imtiaz was leading a BSF border outpost and the front row during Operation Sindoor in the R S Pura section of the Jammu border. However, the braveheart lost his life during the Pakistan shelling. It was on May 12, 2025, when his mortal remains reached Patna. A wreath-laying ceremony was held for Mohammad Imtiaz at the Patna airport, and he was given a guard of honour by security personnel. It was Mohammad Imtiaz’s son, Imran Raza, who was present at the airport with tears and pride in his eyes.
