Capturing dynamic rather than static risk for improved monitoring of type 1 diabetes progression

To capture the changing rather than one-off risk of type 1 diabetes (T1D), we developed an artificial intelligence-driven microRNA-based multi-context (5,983 samples from 7 countries) dynamic risk score (DRS). We validated that this DRS enabled T1D discrimination, misdiagnosis correction and therapeutic response prediction, establishing a personalized, adaptive framework for T1D risk monitoring and intervention.
