Cat Arrives at Shelter in Labor and Needs Emergency Surgery to Survive

Mama cat named Pauline is a survivor. She has endured a lot of pain and suffering but refuses to give up.

The pregnant feline was surrendered to a shelter where the staff was informed that she was previously hit by a car. Pauline arrived in pain and active labor.

Within the first 24 hours she gave birth to three kittens but was struggling to deliver the rest of her litter. She was distressed and needed emergency care.

She was rushed to a clinic where they discovered with an ultrasound that her other three kittens were deceased. The only option was to perform surgery to remove them as the team feared Pauline was becoming septic.

Surgery was difficult on Pauline, but she survived. She is in recovery and under close watch to ensure she doesn’t go septic. Her babies are being bottle fed for now but cuddling with her for support.

Donate now to help Pauline regain her strength to nurse her kittens and live a long and happy life. She has been through so much and needs our support now.
