(ANSA) – ZAGABRIA, 02 SET – The Ambassador of Italy to Croatia, Paolo Trichilo, spoke at the “Zagreb invest 2025” forum, which brought together representatives of Croatian institutions and the local and foreign private sector in the capital, with the aim of discussing the country’s economic performance and investment opportunities.
In his speech, Ambassador Trichilo highlighted the importance of bilateral economic relations, evidenced by Italy’s ranking among Croatia’s main trading partners and investors and the presence of more than 300 Italian companies in the country. He also emphasized how the strengthening of the bilateral relationship was fostered by political dialogue at the highest level, with President Mattarella’s visit to Zagreb last July, followed by the participation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Tajani at the Dubrovnik Forum, after he opened the work of the Croatia-Italy Business Forum in Zagreb in May. Finally, the Ambassador recalled the commitment of the Headquarters and the entire Italian System present in Croatia (CG in Rijeka, ICE, Italian-Croatian Chamber of Commerce) to accompany Italian companies interested in investing through tools, such as the Investment Guide published by the Embassy, and to spread the excellence of our country through integrated promotion events.
