(ANSA) – ROME, SEP 24 – Italy’s budget deficit will fall close to 3% of GDP as early as 2025, the economy ministry’s Treasury department said Wednesday.
“The deficit-to-GDP ratio is expected to be close to 3% as early as 2025, while ongoing efforts will allow the ratio to be consistently reduced below that threshold in the coming years,” said the quarterly issuance program of the Treasury Department of the Ministry of Economy and Finance. (ANSA).
