Donated Formula Feeds Newborn Puppies to Help Malnourished Mama

Being a mama is hard and sometimes you need a little help. A malnourished pregnant dog was rescued from the streets just in time to give birth to nine puppies indoors.

The skinny mama was exhausted and not producing enough milk and needed help to feed her newborn puppies. That is where your generous donations of formula and bottles came to the rescue.

Staff and volunteers at Legacy of Hope Dog Rescue were able to supplement mama’s milk with the donated formula to ensure all the puppies are getting the nutrients they need while staying with their mama.  

The adorable puppies are lapping up the formula and growing stronger each day. They are so grateful for your support and so are their caretakers. “Legacy of Hope Dog Rescue takes in many litters over a year, usually in rough shape. This donation will help us with many needy pups, bottle babies, orphans, etc.”
