Ek Chatur Naar, the black comedy directed by Ashutosh Upadhyay, was released in theatres on September 12, 2025. Now, it has also made its way to the OTT giant platform, Netflix. For the unversed, the Divya Khosla and Neil Nitin Mukesh starrer was released on Netflix on November 7, 2025. Alongside Divya Khosla and Neil Nitin Mukesh, the film also stars Chhaya Kadam, Zakir Hussain, and Sushant Singh. Divya Khosla as ‘Mamta’ is the heart of the film, whose struggling life becomes chaotic after she encounters ‘Abhishek Verma’ (played by Neil Nitin Mukesh).

Plotline of Ek Chatur Naar

The story of Ek Chatur Naar centers on ‘Mamta’, a widowed single mother who struggles hard to raise her son in Lucknow. She is struggling with debt while raising her son, ‘Sonu’, in Lucknow. Her condition is nothing short of a hand-to-mouth situation, as she is saddled with a Rs. 20 lakh loan. During the day, ‘Mamta’ works at the Lucknow Metro, and at night, she uses her clever mind to escape from the struggling life.
