The character is based on the intriguing lawyer, ‘Elsbeth Tascioni’, who was first introduced in The Good Wife and later in the spin-off series, The Good Fight. The character’s unique way of handling the cases hooked the audience, leading to her getting a show, and now we are down to the third season. However, while ‘Elsbeth’ is not nervous about anything, the actress, Carrie Preston, revealed that she was extremely nervous about filming with Stephen Colbert.

In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Carrie revealed that she feels that Stephen Colbert has a bright onscreen future, despite recent events. The Emmy-winning actress raved that the late-night host is ‘such a great actor’ after working with him on the Season 3 premiere, Yes, And…, following the shocking cancellation of The Late Show. Talking about the same, she is quoted as:
“It was really serendipitous because for months and months we had been working to get these actors on the show. [Executive producer] Jonathan Tolins wrote the script specifically for Stephen Colbert. Then the week before we were about to start filming, it was announced that his show was done.”
