Ethiopia’s annual running carnival that started in 2001 with 10,000 participants will celebrate its 24th edition on Sunday 17th November with 50,000 places taken. Once again the race will be Africa’s biggest ever race by participation numbers.
The 10km race takes place in Addis Ababa on a tough one-lap course which features a tough 500m uphill section just after the 6km mark. A wave start will be in operation to accommodate the high participant numbers.
