(ANSA) – ROMA, 06 AGO – Italian artist Fabio Roncato will participate in the ‘Jeonnam International Ink’ Biennale 2025, which takes place in South Korea, at the invitation of the event’s artistic director, Yun Cheagab.
This year’s theme, ‘Somewhere over the Yellow Sea’ (‘Somewhere over the Yellow Sea’), invites a rethinking of East Asia’s cultural geography: in an era when more than 7 billion people are connected by transnational networks, the Biennale aims to overcome traditional distinctions between center and periphery.
Fabio Roncato will be featured in the Biennale’s main exhibition, which will run from Aug. 30 to Oct. 31 in the cities of Mokpo, Jindo and Haenam, in South Jeolla Province. The participation of the Italian artist, in collaboration with the Italian Embassy and the Italian Cultural Institute, represents an important opportunity for intercultural dialogue and artistic exchange between Italy and South Korea.
