Flames spread with ‘alarming speed’ north of Los Angeles as Canyon Fire forces evacuations in Southern California

A wildfire is rapidly growing in an area northwest of Los Angeles, forcing thousands of people living in and around Piru and Castaic to evacuate. The blaze is also near Santa Clarita.
