(ANSA) – ROME, SEP 12 – Israeli singer-songwriter Noa made an appeal for peace on Friday as she performed at an event at Florence’s Palazzo Vecchio.
“Stop. How much longer can this go on?” Noa said at the ‘Re-Imagine Peace: a light ahead’ event.
“Free Palestine, free Israel too.
“Free us all from hatred, that’s what we have to do! “Free us from fear, help us get closer to each other.” During the event Noa sang ‘The Must be Another Way’ with Palestinian-Israeli artist Mira Awad, the song they presented together at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. (ANSA).
