A fresh heatwave is brewing after a period of slightly cooler weather with Britain set to bask in glorious 30C temperatures.
Britons will be preparing again for a new heatwave after the country just recovered from another one last week.
Temperatures are set to rise from today, with the heat continuing to increase into next week, with current predictions from the Met Office showing next Thursday peaking at 32C.
A mild evening tonight is predicted after a stint of uncomfortably hot nights across the UK.
Cloud will thicken across the UK by the end of the night, with some regions experiencing some rain, mainly over the western hills and coast.
There will be a few showers, particularly impacting the north of England and Scotland over the night, with possibility of stronger winds.
The showers will be mostly confined to higher areas and be light.
Northern Ireland will experience some cloud building across the day, allowing some rain to roll in.

The east Midlands and west Midlands will experience slightly higher temperatures, but the weather might be variable, but should be more settled towards the end of the week.
The south east region and London will experience the driest and brightest conditions across the next few days.
Tony Wisson, Met Office Deputy Chief Forecaster said: “Toward the weekend, high pressure will continue to build in across most of the UK as it extends from the Azores.
“This will lead to more settled, warm or very warm conditions for many, especially across England and Wales, though some rain may still affect the far north.”

On Thursday and Friday it is possible some areas will be approaching low impact heatwave thresholds, although this might change due to uncertainty in the development of the weather pattern towards the end of the week.
Mr Wisson added: “The forecast for this weekend suggests that temperatures could approach high 20sC across parts of England, perhaps 30C in parts of the south east, with values of mid to high 20C in Wales.
“Although a return to heatwave conditions is looking increasingly likely for some areas, the likelihood of such extreme high temperatures or high levels of humidity as last week is currently low.”
It is possible next week the south and east of England will reach medium impact temperature thresholds, with the possibility the Met Office may issue a yellow or amber warning.
Over the next week, high pressure will dominate, meaning England will enjoy dry and fine weather.
A heatwave occurs when there are three consecutive days with maximum temperatures at or above a set threshold.
The threshold varies by county, reflecting the regional climate differences.
June was a record-breaking month, with the the hottest temperature this month was in Lingwood, Norfolk, at 37.7C on Friday.
The temperature is still requiring verification by the Met Office, but if confirmed, it will be the new June record for the UK.
It is too early to say if July will follow the same suit as June, but the sunny, warm weather looks like it will continue.
