In an interview with Hauterrfly, Gautami expressed that when her daughter turned 16, she thought of gifting her a s** toy, and thought if she should gift her a vibrator. Gautami further revealed that she wanted to teach her daughter to know about the private aspects of her life. She was quoted as saying:
“When my daughter turned 16, I had to gift her something. I was thinking, should I gift her a sex toy? Should I gift her a vibrator or something? What my mother didn’t do it, I don’t want to not do that with my daughter. I want her to experience everything. A lot of women go through life without experiencing the pleasures of it. Why be in that situation? Today my daughter is 19 and she appreciates the fact that at least, I had that thought. She respects me for that. I think it’s wonderful.”
