GKA Freestyle World Cup Abu Dhabi
The women’s semi-finals delivered impressive performances and inspiring comebacks. Reigning world champion Bruna Kajiya (BRA) demonstrated her trademark power and precision, landing a massive Front to Blind and Back Mobe to secure her spot in the final. Francesca Bagnoli (ITA) showed consistency and style with a Slim Chance and S-bend to Blind, while Martyna Konkel (POL), returning from a two-year injury break, put down two solid tricks early to advance. Claudia León (ESP), also making a comeback from ACL surgery, impressed with a strong S-bend to Blind and an explosive Tootsie Roll, proving she’s back to her best form.
Unfortunately, the wind dropped completely before the final could be held, leaving all four riders tied for first. The men’s division didn’t get the chance to compete at all due to the calm conditions.
Both men and women will now continue their title battles at the season finale in Taiba Lagoon, Brazil, in mid-November.
