Rumours about Bollywood actor Govinda and his wife, Ssunita Ahuja’s divorce have been circulating for months. Time and again, Ssunita has talked about the same and dismissed the buzz, but it kept getting ignited again and again. A few days ago, Ssunita dropped her husband’s surname from her IG handle, while adding an extra ‘S’ to her name, and as the incident happened during her divorce, it again re-ignited the speculations around. Now, another report claimed that Ssunita actually filed for divorce and labelled some serious allegations against the actor.
Govinda’s wife, Ssunita, reportedly accuses him of cheating and cruelty as she filed for divorce
As per a recent report by Hauterrfly, Ssunita Ahuja filed for divorce from Govinda back in December 2024 in the Bandra family court, citing adultery, cruelty, and desertion under the Hindu Marriage Act 1955. If the reports are to be believed, Govinda was called by the court on May 25, 2025, and since June 2025, the couple has been trying to mend things between them. The same report also revealed that while Ssunita Ahuja has been constantly attending the court hearings, Govinda has been missing them. He also reportedly skipped the court-mandated counselling session, as reported.
