The minister emphasized the government’s efforts to make life-saving vaccines more accessible. “Under the previous government, vaccines for snake and dog bites were available only at District Headquarters Hospitals and government medical colleges. After the DMK government took charge, PHCs and sub-health centres were equipped with ASV (anti-snake venom) and ARV vaccines, ensuring quicker treatment for patients,” he said.
