India could cut 6.3 MMT CO₂ emissions by 2035 with green hydrogen shift: Report

​Replacing 15% of India’s refinery hydrogen consumption with green hydrogen could reduce carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions by approximately 6.3 million metric tonnes (MMT) by 2035, according to EY-Parthenon’s report, “How Green Manufacturing is Reshaping India’s Industrial Landscape,” launched at India Energy Week 2025.
