Insurance firm told to pay Rs 7 lakh to polio-afflicted woman for weight-loss surgery

The Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission in Rajkot ordered The New India Assurance Co. Ltd to pay Rs 7 lakh to the Morbi resident who underwent the operation in an Ahmedabad-based hospital in March last year.
