Ishaan Khatter is one of the young actors in Bollywood. The actor is currently leading the headlines for his recent release The Royals. In a recent candid chat with Zoom, Ishaan shared his experience working with Bollywood actress, Tabu. For the unversed, Ishaan and Tabu worked together in a mini-series, A Suitable Boy in 2020. In the series there were some intimate scenes that featured Ishaan and Tabu.
Ishaan Khatter recalls how Tabu made him safe and secure in shooting
In the candid conversation with Zoom, Ishaan shared how, with Tabu, he felt safer to act on such intimate scenes in the mini-series. The actor mentioned that the duo never discussed what they would be doing in the scenes. Ishaan shared that the coordination and understanding level between him and Tabu, just made the scene more beautiful and realistic. In his words:
“With an actress like Tabu, honestly, it’s like, you don’t have to talk about it. I have to say, and this sounds, I don’t know, this might sound off or something, but I was not freaked out, absolutely not. In fact, I felt safer, because I was playing off of an actor who I knew would not only understand what I’m doing, but like, take it somewhere else, and I think, that’s the beauty of it with Tabu, we never had to speak about what we’re doing in a scene.”
