Italian Design Day celebrated in Bucharest

(ANSA) – BUCAREST, 16 MAG – The Italian Embassy, the Italian Cultural Institute and Ice Agenzia Bucharest celebrated the 2025 edition of the Italian Design Day in the Romanian capital, held again this year in collaboration with the Romanian Design Week (Rdw). The exhibition ‘Accessible and inclusive: Italian design for a better life’, curated for the occasion by architect Matteo Belfiore, opened on 16 May and will be open until 25 May at the Exhibition Hub inside the Rdw, in a historic building in the centre of the capital (Benjamin Franklin 10 str.).
Romanian Design Week is a multidisciplinary festival dedicated to Romania’s creative industries, promoting design, architecture, creativity and innovation as tools for cultural, social and economic growth. As part of the festival, which is visited by more than 40,000 people each year, exhibitions and events are organised with the aim of making design accessible to a wide audience.
