Italy and 20 other countries condemn West Bank settlement

(ANSA) – ROME, AUG 21 – Twenty-one countries, including Great Britain, France, Australia, Canada, and Italy, have signed a joint statement calling Israel’s approval of the E1 settlement project in the West Bank “unacceptable and a violation of international law.” “We condemn this decision and demand its immediate revocation in the strongest terms,” ;;the statement reads, regarding the plans for the so-called E1 area near Jerusalem.
