(ANSA) – ZAGABRIA, 24 MAG – The photo exhibition ‘Italia Amore Mio’ by actor and photographer Gianfranco Jannuzzo, who was present at the event, was opened at the Italian Cultural Institute in Zagreb. The exhibition, recently presented at MAXXI in Rome and already exhibited in Potenza, Trieste and Umago (Istria), is based on Jannuzzo’s book of the same name. It recounts, through black and white shots that portray the everyday life of common people and illustrious personalities, the evolution of Italy over the years, up to the more recent multiculturalism favoured by the phenomenon of migration . The event was attended by the Italian Ambassador to Croatia, Paolo Trichilo, as well as Paolo Rovis and Fabrizio Somma, respectively Vice President and Secretary General of the Università Popolare di Trieste, one of the partners of the initiative together with the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region. They stressed the importance of the exhibition as a vehicle for spreading Italian culture in Croatia. Afterwards, Ambassador Trichilo attended the concert of the CEMAN Orchestra (Central European Music Academies Netwotk), an ensemble of young musical talents from Central Europe, at the prestigious Zagreb Auditorium ‘Vatroslav Lisinski’. The orchestra performed symphonies by Mozart and was conducted by Maestro Romolo Gessi. The initiative was supported by the Central European Initiative (CEI) and several partners, including the ‘Giuseppe Tartini’ Conservatory of Trieste and the ‘Jacopo Tomadini’ State Music Conservatory of Udine.
