JetBlue has become the first airline to embrace Venmo as a payment method, providing customers with a simple and secure way to pay for flights. Now available on JetBlue’s website, this convenient payment option will also be introduced to the airline’s mobile app in the near future. U.S. travelers can use their Venmo balance, linked bank accounts, debit cards, or credit cards to seamlessly book flights directly with JetBlue.
“We’re continually looking for ways to make it easier to book a JetBlue flight on our website and mobile app,” said Carol Clements, chief digital and technology officer, JetBlue. “Adding Venmo offers a seamless payment option for customers who enjoy the ease and convenience of the Venmo platform.”

JetBlue’s collaboration with Venmo marks another step in leveraging digital innovation to enhance and simplify the travel experience for its customers. In September 2024, the airline introduced new features to its mobile app, such as a boarding countdown displayed on phone lock screens and streamlined access to gate details, making the travel journey even smoother.
