There has been a lot of anticipation and hype around Vishnu Manchu’s mythological epic named, Kannappa, which is all set to make its debut on OTT. The movie is set to hit the theatres on June 27, 2025 and reportedly will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video. The movie is adhering to the 10-week theatrical window that Vishnu Manchu had promised fans during the movie promotions.
Kannappa to release on the OTT platforms soon
Kannappa has been the most ambitious home production project of Vishnu Manchu. He played the role of a tribal warrior who became a Shiva devotee, and the film had a theatrical release on June 27, 2025. During the movie’s promotions, directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Vishnu stated that he would not allow the film to release on OTT until the 10-week mark from the theatrical release date had been completed. However, most of the major platforms have revealed content on or before the 30-day mark.
