Recently, Manushi appeared at the NDTV Yuva Conclave, where she spoke about how body shaming is deeply rooted in our society. During the session titled The Beauty of Business, the former Miss World shared how unrealistic beauty standards for women often caused stress to them. When asked whether such prejudices are active in a beauty pageant competition, she said, “Absolutely not.” Manushi highlighted that both she and Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu, the Miss Universe 2021, were subjected to body shaming.
